Did you attend this abysmal display Spot? ( Scroll down for video In article )

I now applaud our decision to stay home and watch Eastenders........

I feel sorry for anyone who gets the olympics ... why not just have one place in the world to hold it every four years? like Geneva or somewhere?

Fuzz, cities apply to get the Olympics because it brings in a stack of cash to improve the infrastructure. It doesn't go anywhere that's not made a large effort to get it.

And leaves them in great debt. The only people who get any kind of surplus money are those who co ordinate the games and those who get big business handouts straight into their pockets ...It's so rigged.

Did they actually chant it. School kids would here.

I'm not sure there's evidence of debt to the bidding cities. There certainly isn't to the host country if you take all the extra tourist spending into account. Australia hosted not long back - what part of Australia ended up out of pocket, do you say?

There was an amused attempt not long after the advertising sponsors' trucks went by of "hurry up, hurry up, hurry up" but it was just one class of eight year olds.
