I've been there, but that was when I was 2 and was living there. I have vague memories of it. I would love to go back to visit there all though due to the cold weather and snow I would not like to live there! I remember enjoying playing at the park in our neighborhood and staring snow on the ground. But I was only two, so my advice and memories can't be very helpful.
DANGER!I drive like you do.

Is it a long way up in the air? Something over a mile above sea level? Surrounded by brown desert-like terrain with occasional circular green patches of agriculture? Lots of smog on the horizon? I remember very little of my time there, it was like a large Mall with unwashed airplanes.

I've driven through (or maybe around it) on my way to Estes Park a few times. As for the view, I thought it was pretty, but I've not seen a lot either. Didn't actually spend any time there though.
I probably posted that in an ambien trance-soryy

It can be quite nice in summer as far as large cities go but is extrememly cold in winter due to its altitude.

It really depends on what time of the year you intend visiting anmd what sort of vacation you like.

The State of Colorado is beautiful once you move outside the Denver metro area.

It must be great living inthe STates. You`ve got like a whole continent to visit with no sea travel necessary!
