One of the fine gentle souls from my church passed away suddenly yesterday from congestive heart failure. I had the pleasure of meeting & speaking with Tom at one of the monthly Adults Alive Luncheons. A Vietnam Veteran, Tom had a number of war related injuries that confined him to his powered wheelchair carrying his required oxygen. Tom's breathing problems were caused by exposure to agent orange in the jungles of Vietnam. Tom was interviewed during one of the monthly Adult Alive luncheons that I attended, telling his story to a room full of seniors. He will be sorely missed!
