Here's a photo for you from yesterday's Telegraph obituary column. It's a pilot looking several minutes short of coming to terms with having survived, he appears to be a long way distant.

Ah ! Now that would make a difference wouldn't it. I'm not in the least bit embarrased about it really I'm not. I could blame it on the ageing process and senility but it's always been there
