I just watched the first program in what I assume must be a series. Just over an hour long, three singer-songwriters on stage, Richard Thompson, Suzanne Vega and Loudon Wainwright. A magical hour.

It has, among other gems, this verse from the most vivid death-bed song ever written:He reached for her hand and he slipped her the keys

Said "I've got no further use for these.

I see angels on Ariels in leather and chrome,

Swooping down from heaven to carry me home"

And he gave her one last kiss and died

And he gave her his Vincent to ride.

Here, I even found a Youtube version from a couple of decades ago...
