ArggggH! The noise is killing me!!!!!!!!

I just put up a new wire antenna and all of a sudden I''ve got RF noise out the wahzoo!

All I did was string the wire....I don't get it. I got RF noise even if the wire isn't hooked up to the radio. What the heck?

Suggestions?

Suggestions?

You have a local signal source if you hear the noise without the antenna. Are you running UPS's? AC filters? Do you have a touch lamp in your house?

I had a big UPS in my office that was the cause of s7 noise continuously.
