Albums in my profile....

Mega ~~~sigh~~~.....

I've somehow deleted all the pictures in 5 of my albums in my profile, by accident.

Even deleted some of the actual photos in my 'picture area' of my computer.

I was trying to delete the uploaded pictures in 'manage attachment' area of FG. When I deleted them from FG, some were also deleted from my hard drive.

Somehow, many of my pictures from my computer were pulled into this area. Now I'm afraid to touch the remaining ones for fear that they'll be deleted from my hard drive.

I think that I still have the pictures in photobucket.....hope so....

This is turning out to be a shi$$y day.

If you deleted them from you computer, check your "Recycle Bin" and restore your photos. The photos in the attachment area of FG are stored here locally. If you delete them here, they do not/can not affect your local files.

Thank you Chris. I did find the pictures in the recycling bin. But, I'm still trying to figure out how I deleted all the pictures in the albums in my profile.

I will restore them, but I don't want to delete them again.

Thank you Odie,

Chris helped me. Pictures were in my recycling. Now, I have to redo the albums again. That's ok because I do have the pictures now.

Your welcome, I would have never even thought of the recycling bin.:-3

Thank goodness you have them, I have accidentally deleted things as well with the new set-up, it will just take us time.

Before you try anything else BACK THEM UP

Preferably to a removable media - with a copy to send off-site

Then, if the system glitches again, you're safe

(and if that's not a case of "do as I say, not as I do" then I've never seen one).

I'm embarrassed to say Bryn that I never back up anything on my desktop or laptop. I honestly don't know how to do it and have never asked for advice.

I am the laziest person for filing and reading manuals to learn new things
