Does Tiger Woods deserve to be named AP's Athlete of the Decade in light of this month of scandal?

The votes were cast for this honor long before the events of late and not based on his personal life but his athletic ability.

Yes, it is an award for his athletic accomplishments not his personnel downfalls.

Anyone who can use his putter this well should get some kind of an award.

What Tiger does in the bedroom should have nothing to do with what he does on the green. :p

It's sad that he destroyed what was most important to him and it's sad to see these women turn on him so quickly for fifteen minutes of fame and whatever else they get out of this. I personally don't get the appeal of any of these women he cheated on his wife with...

Some votes were cast before and after what happened to him.

That shows proud and recognition for an outstanding athlete.

He deserves this as much as the next guy, he is an outstanding athlete and his personal life should have nothing to do with it.

I'm so sick of hearing about personalities private lives ...and I'm sooo sick of those who feed off it.

How would you feel if your private life and experiences was held up to public scrutany?

Even for those who don't believe they've never done anything wrong.....that's your opinion of yourself and not the opinion of people you've known over the years.
