The Kinnock'sve got their snouts so deep in the trough that one might expect some comment to be made about them. Oh - it has. Effect? Negligable. Nothing can be done, which is unfortunate.
That Blair can be even *considered*, and that the position may become available, shows how mad the whole lot are.

New Labour are just "Labour". They lost the plot quite some time ago. The megalomaniac Blair started it, compounded the problem, then effed off into the sunset before the strimmer hit the cat s hit. The next "leader" then swans along with his thumbs up his bum and his brain in neutral, hoping for the best, that he/they can hang on a bit longer and c ock things up further for the next lot.
This "Presidency" is a new position that will come into being should the Lisbon Treaty ("European Constitution") be ratified by all of Europe. We had better hope that this does not happen. One possibility is that the Irish will save us, as they've been asked to vote again on the exact same thing they threw out last time, now dressed up with worthless "guarantees". Were I Irish, I would be very highly miffed by this outrage. There is another country that could save us - but that it will is doubtful. What about us? We could do something about it should there be a General Election very soon - you may bet that there won't be.
