They have won a council seat. They might win another. I think it is highly likely that they will have an MEP.

He's been attacked by "protesters" & had eggs thrown at him.

I'd be happier if bothe he and the "protesters" were sent somewhere a very long way away for a very long time.

Ironically the more people protest the more support they will probably end up getting. When it comes to immigration he does express some of the concerns and fears people have.
