What was the first record that you ever bought, and why !

The first record I ever bought was Perez Prado playing 'Patricia' - an instrumental. I was only a kid and this record fascinated me. I couldn't actually play it for a few years as we didn't have a record player !!!! Took several weeks of saved pocket money to get it as well :yh_rotfl

I bought my first record when I was 11. It was also a 45 rpm. :wah: But the record wasn't for me, it was a gift for a girlfriend who was having a birthday party...along with a pen set. Cute song. I remember it well....and it was a popular tune. This is it..........

The first record I remember owning was Nellie the Elephant but the first one I remember buying for myself was Sacrifice by Black Widow :-
