hello again its only me your ever faithfull grumps.

as a change to trawling the papers heres one from the grumps himself.

has anyone seen the specsaver advertisement where edith piaf sings no regrets ?

if you havent it can be found on you tube.

the advert is funny but also a little distatefull and disrespectful to the memory of edith piaf.

and that a multinational company like specsavers could do ads on the cheap like this.

On the other hand it has revived the interest in her career and music for an artist that most people have never heard of.

Well said that Scotsman. I think it's funny. Although the one with the shepherd shearing his sheepdog is even funnier.
