I SUCK ! :-5:-5:-5

I cant do anything mechanical. For some stupid reason I keep trying though.

The windsheild wipers would get stuck, usually at the worst time. I thought motor but they said get this thingy.

Runs fine now, its strong, its good.

Except the wiper would either fly into the engine or after adjusting oof the windsheild. After 4 hrs I got it perfect, just right to the bottom, just right to the top.

Except now when you turn it off it stops in the middle of the windsheild.

Buy a new Car Nomie. !!!:driving: Here is a site with a video and instruction on how to replace the wipers. :D

You may have a busted wiper transmission. Try the different speeds and see if that works eventually. You may also have bent the shaft of one of the blades so it can't go all the way down.

I just figured it out. If I turn the spindle 180 deg it should stop either at the top or bottom. The spindle position is the culprit.

Ill go have a grilled cheese to celebrate.

My husband worked on our windshield wipers (he's not mechanical either)

but he tries.....

so, when you use the blinker the wipers go

oh, God we laugh - just dusting....:wah:

Patsy

I wished he'd quit trying - it costs double when he tries....

Yea pretty amazing isnt it ?

I was prying the cowl out from the spline that holds the windsheild in place and the screwdriver jammed into the glass putting an 8" crack in it.

And it wasnt the wiper it was the wiper motor.

Now that you mention it, it probably is the most coherent thing Ive said here. :)
