I empathize with the lady, but they overextended themselves. McCain's wife invests in real estate.
Stop with the Little People crap unless we're talking about midgets. You don't strike me as the type that would call for the gov't to pay for people's mortgages simply because they can't afford the payments they contracted for.

Don't be salty, Peanut.
hehe. I call anyone who works a regular job and lives paycheck to paycheck like me, the little people. Expecting govt to bail them out isn't what I meant. I know how hard it is for just my dad and I to cover our house payment (modest single family dwelling) and buy food, insurance, pay our necessary bills and have any kind of "cushion" left over. And we're pretty frugal people. I'm sure a lot of those people had bitten off more than they could chew but I doubt all of them did. I'm not jealous of McCain's glut of houses. But I am resentful. I want to see Joe Lunchbucket in office. Not some rich man with a rich wife who can afford to pity the rest of us. When it comes down to it I don't think he understands how it is for so many of us common people.
ps: the peanut thing was a joke. You know i'm kidding with you, right? :-6

It's run by millionaires for millionaires. Of course, McCain is bringing Jo with him.

Ha! Schizophrenic Party. :wah: Believe me, I don't. And in this year I don't look to the Democrats either. I truly am worried that McCain will win and my distrust/dislike of him isn't a matter of party as I've never gone by that. I want to say it'll be another four years of stodgy republicanism. I don't mean Repubs are bad. It's just they're not...well..liberal.
This display of weath, this ostentatiousness, just chaps me. I could see an extra home, a summer home or coastal home. But seven?! It's like a slap in the face to those who struggle to even have one home.

I'm not voting for him, either, but not because he's not sincere. I think he is.
Again, they're not homes they live in. They are investment properties. If I'm wrong somebody let me know.

Investments I imagine they are. But to my common mind, I cannot help but see all those houses as a big display of ostentation. A vulgar display of wealth. Speaking as a voter and having been a poor girl, I want a president who is down to earth like me. One who can speak my language firsthand. Doesn't have to be some poor slob. But one without such a financial footprint. Maybe that's what we all want though? Some candidate who will actually represent *us.*

I would gladly be a caretaker of one of his properties that he has in and around San Diego. The one in La Jolla look right up my alley.

ALOHA!!

Cindy McCain - wouldn't have a clue What poor is..
John McCain - put aside his War Resume - he doesn't know poor either.
I want them to apply for Welfare - just to be denied & then what ?
Live out of their '72 Pinto, hey, it's a hatch model.
McCain could've offered to Apply all his Campaign Ad money to this Financial Bailout.. That would be millions & millions, and stop the negative ads..
Obama also had the same choice - apply Camapign Ad Funds, towards the Financial Bailout.. but didn't..
Pathetic

Cindy McCain worked with Mother Theresa. I think she has a pretty good idea what poor is, and you can't take away the POW experience but I would think that if anything it would make him a bit less tolerant of free and healthy people complaining about ... well ... anything.
