How do I make a signature banner?

I really want to create one for a renaissance RPG online that I'm a little hooked on at the mo, but don't know where to start.

I know a few people here have made them - Sheryl made me one for here, which I'll be using again as soon as I get a supporting account.

Basically, if anyone can recommend any sites/downloadable software, it'll be much appreciated!

I don't know very much about that sort of thing but this site looks like it might be a bit easy to follow...I know if I can do it anyone can do it...:wah:...

Never mind Carol, I'm not too great myself...I know enough to get by day to day, but nothing about complicated stuff like graphics!:-3

Well yes depending on how elaborate you wish it to be you may find it more convenient to have someone else do it who's a bit more schooled in it...I know one thing's for sure, your using the word "graphics" makes it quite evident that you want more than just a few pictures in the shape of a rectangle...:wah:

Pinky, the software I use is Corel Paintshop Pro. There are hundreds of tutorials on making sig tags and banners on the net for this software.

But if you have something specific in mind, or a certain image you want used just send it to me, and I'll mess around with it.
