We had a Springer Spaniel that loved to be outdoors. She would even sleep in front yard in the snow. A neighbor had a rabbit that went wild. The rabbit used to crawl up on the springer's back to stay warm and sleep. People would stop to look and take pictures. Once in a while when people found out where we lived they would say something like, "oh, the house with the Springer Spaniel". She lived to be almost 16 years old...I think because of her kind heart.

:-6 What a nice thing to say about her, Clint.

I've had four Springers in my life, one as an adult. We flew her out from Alaska. She was arguably the "best" (quotes because every dog is the best) dog I've known. I love springers.
