Let the Countdown begin for the Olympics.

Lets see, I know its still June so its like 30 or however many days are in July + however many days are left in June + 8 days in August...maybe you dont count the 8th day since thats when it starts. Not sure on that one.

So, its for sure 37 days away.........except China's days are opposite of the states, I think theyre ahead of us so for certain its at least 36 days away plus whatever is left of June.

So, you're sure? 38 days? 37 days? :D

I mean, I don't want to miss it. Men on pummel horses turn me on.:-4

See how much I knew, I didn't know it was on 080808.

Me I will be front and center with my Niece who made the "Womens US 2008 Soccer Olympic Team" who should be wearing #4. We thinks might actually get some playing time. Who knows at this point she could be 1 of the starting 11. We can pray and hope she is. :D

Well technically I believe it's 40 days and 18 hours and 10 minutes and 41 days and 6 hours and 10 minutes for the US EST to watch their fellow countrymen begin their Olympics at 40 days 18 hours and 10 minutes...I hadn't counted the 8th...

I thought it might be cooler...

Every English premier league game I watch it's practically raining...Obviously this is probably because of the ocean but that also has to play a large role in it's inability to hold a warm temperature...And obviously with you living in Scotland to the north you're more subject to colder temperatures...

I would love to visit Scotland...I have ancestors from my fathers side of the family from Scotland...They bore the name McClure...I would love to see Scotland's hills though...I'm Sure Kentucky pales in comparison...

You describe it so irresistibly...

I will most definately make the effort...

My brother and his wife knows a woman, who's moved here from Scotland, and are friends...She has had things she wishes to do back in Scotland and it has come up that they all go back to Scotland to take care of some of her dire needs...She's a retired service woman to the Royal Air Force...Hopefully she might be able to smack some courage in myself to fly...:wah:...If not she could always smack me out so that it would make it impossible for me to decline making the trip...:wah:

See i just struggle to imagine anyone leaving here for any length of time. Of course she wants to come back for a visit but she will only go back to America & not settle, Silly girl  America should be a phase. (no offence)

You can take the girl out of Scotland but you cant take Scotland out the girl. She wont die happy unless she's home.
