i first want to take the time to thank those of you who responded to my last post about my mother. you guys have no idea how much that meant to me to get so many responses and prayers!!!!
to those who havent read my previous post, my mother was having serious stomach pain. she couldnt eat or drink anythng without it coming back up. i thought that maybe it was an ulcer or even some kind of stomach cancer, so, you can imagine that i was a basketcast for the 2 weeks of waiting for results.
im happy to report that my mother is fine. though they're unsure of whats causing her pains, we're pretty certain thats its not anythng like cancer or even ulcers. she has been put on a special diet and she seems to be doing great. i personally think that her pains come from stress...stress from work, just everyday stress. my mother is 52 years old and works like crazy and never takes the time she needs to relax and regroup, she is constantly on the go...
so, i think that if ican convince her to take some time to relax, regroup, and just breathe for a moment,. she will be wonderful...
shes supposed to go back to the doctor ina couple of weeks for additional tests and a check up and i will definitely keep you all posted when that happens as well.
thanks again...i love you all!!

mommy update!!
Hi, I am very happy to see that all seems well and wish you the very best.
Not to be a party pooper or anything, but I need to tell you of the experience with my father.
He too had stomach pains and unexplained illness. He was tested and was given the all clear, but was then diagnosed as a diabetic and needed to start insulin shots.
It was however a misdiagnoses and he turned out to have cancer of the pancreas, which is one of the most difficult types of cancer to detect. It causes many bizarre side effects and often disguises itself as something else first. This is why this type of cancer is so deadly, as by the time it is determined to be pancreatic cancer it is often too late to do anything (as it was with my dad).
I don’t mean to scare you, and am sure all is well; however it may be worth while getting a second opinion. There needs to be something causing her illness and this does not sound like the type of thing stress does.
Best Wishes
