Post by AA grumpy »

hello again

well it may be wild and windy ouside but you are always assured a warm welcome at the house of lord grumpy.

so with glass of sherry in one hand and keyboard at the ready here is tonights little news snippet for you to digest.

TWO men have been murdered and one left critical in brutal stab attacks on The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man believed to be in his 40s and a woman were arrested in connection with the probe and are in custody at separate south London police stations.

A second murder probe was launched after a second man was stabbed to death in Edmonton, north London last night.

Police attended the scene in Bedevere Rd shortly before 9pm after reports that a man in his early to mid 20's was knifed in the street

He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 9.30pm.

A police statement said: "We believe we know the identity of the victim but he has yet to be formally identified and next of kin informed.

"At this early stage it is believed that following the incident three black males were seen running along Bedevere Rd."

In the third shocking incident to be added to the list of victims of Broken Britain, officers were called to reports of a stabbing near Croydon's Whitgift Centre at 9.37am this morning.

The victim was flown by helicopter to a London hospital, said to be suffering from a "life threatening" injury.

The incidents are the latest in a series of stabbings which have claimed the lives of youths on the streets of London.

GRUMPYS VIEW

what will it take to stop this madness this is 4 more parents who will not see their children on sundays birthdays or christmas.

more wives who have lost husbands children without fathers and 3 black youths who will possibly get away with this dispicable crime.

we need the return of the death penalty to the stature book even if its used only in extreme cases, as a deterrant this will be invaluable.

the gallows still exist at hmp pentonville should the death penalty be brought back

but we could follow the united states lead and execute by lethal injection as an alternative to hanging.

in a BNP poll a wopping 79% said yes to the return of the death penalty

this surely outweighs the cost of keeping them in jail for the next 15 years.

we need a referendum and vote on wether the death penalty should return to the stature book.

I absolutely agree. This country is becoming far more violent than per rota of population than some of the third world countrie's.

We really do need a referendum on the death sentance debate.

I was oppossed to the death penalty years ago when we did not have the advanced techniques of dna & forensics as many went to the gallows based purely on circumstansial evidence. I believe that if the police do a thorough job with forensics & there is absolutely no doubt, then bring it on.

However, in cases of "Barry George" who has just been found not guilty of murdering "Jill Dando", although, Yep, he's a real odd ball, his family could be looking a postumus parden right now.

There has to be guidelines in place to make sure that evidence is water tight before condemming the killer but if it's over - whelming, then i don't see why the tax payer has to keep them for the rest of their lives.

I also feel very strongly that if our prisons are clogged up with the likes of "Abu Hamza" to name a few, then just send them home.

Anyone seeking asylum in this country should be gratefull for all it has to offer. Break the law & incur a prison sentance, you should be on the first flight home.

Why should we keep them???
