Glad to hear you have accepted you sexuality and are happy.

I have heaps of friends who are Gay and I worked with two Gay doctors. Sometimes I find my Gay friends a lot easier to get on with than my straight friends.:)

Whatever gets you thru the night friend. It takes courage to admit to something like that I would imagine, though it can be tricky on forums like this getting too personal about your life, but most people here will be pretty cool I would imagine, some won't be that cool, but I guess just don't let some of the negativity you will probably get from people who are naturally uncomfortable with those kinds of issues upset you too much, its just the way people are. :-6

Having watched someone close to me go through the process of realizing he was gay, and the confusion it brings - I know it is not easy. Its good to hear that you have found your answers, and happy with it.

Wishing you loads of happiness Darren. :-4 :-4

Because I have got to know you first I have no opinion, I hope that makes sense. To me you are just Darren, whether you fancy men, women or garden ornaments makes absolutely no difference you're still yourself, that kind, sweet, funny, caring ML that we all care about. As long as you're happy that's what matters.

btw weird coincidence - only the other day I was wondering about how many people here are gay, strange mind wandering moment when I should have been studying!!!

And another thing, I was at a meeting last night and two people were passing comment about a gay couple who were there and it really hacked me off. The couple have been together forever and had a civil ceremony as soon as it became law, they're lovely men and don't deserve to be judged. (small rant, I'm over it now!!!)

I have known many many gay people in my life as many years ago I used to compere in a pub in London that was one of the first pubs to ever have drag acts.Because it was such a new thing at the time it was visited by many famous people who also was gay but many including me didn't realise this.Of course it made no difference to me at all and they even were nicer than I thought they would be when I used to see them on the tele. Why on earth why should it have made a difference? What somebody does behind closed doors is their business no matter what their sexuality is.Through my life some of my best friends have been gay and some of them made a huge contribution to my life in so many ways and without having met them my life would have not as been so happy......funny and full of so many warm and fond memories as it is now.You are what you are and being trapped in a body that dosen't match your desires cannot be easy and should never be frowned upon.

Good luck for today, tomorrow and always sweetheart and you just be yourself and if anybody can't except that............well tough...........thats their problem;)

The important thing is love. The rest is endlessly fascinating and a lot of fun, but the important thing is all about the person in your arms.

Makes no difference what sex or sexuality you are.

I applaud your honesty. People are who they are and certainly have the right to be themselves. You're gay ~ so what ~ it's ok with me! I say bunk negativity concerning any personal choices. If you're happy, that's all that matters!
