Five set to revive Minder drama... UK

Classic drama Minder could be making a television comeback, with actor Shane Richie "tipped" to star in it, a spokesman for TV channel Five has said.

Scripts for the show are currently being developed, with a view to commissioning a series later this year.

George Cole, who played dodgy salesman Arthur Daley, and actor Dennis Waterman starred in the original ITV series.

Richie's agent Phil Dale said: "I am currently in negotiations and unable to discuss this further."

The London-based show, which at its peak was one of ITV's most popular programmes, ran for 15 years.

I loved Minder...we need some good tv series back on and I love Shane Ritchie too

Oh FFS! I couldn't stand Minder, and I can't stand Shane Ritchie! Fancy dragging up that load of old cr@p, with tosser Shane in it..Nightmare!

Why not bring back the original ones.....they both are still acting and it could be quite funny lol.

Funny story............I had that some years ago but not on me tongue;)......I was doing an Antique Fair and was telling this woman on the next stall.So there I was .....Carol the know all who knew everything.........anyway she told me to get some yogurt..........I told her I wasn't a lover of it and could I get fruit flavoured........she did nuf give me a weird look.........well at the time I thought you had to eat the bloody stuff fgs!!!!!!:wah::wah::rolleyes:;)
