K9 Demo

Post by 911 »

I thought I would show you guys one of our K9 demos at a Kids and Cops function. The officer in control of the dog is one of our LT's and in charge of training.

To me, it shows the level of training that dog had. Chomps the bad

guy like it is supposed to but not the handler when he falls in front of

him!!

That should be easy to do, just contact your local law enforcement and see if or when they have Kops and Kids Day or K9 demos in your area.

They do it all the time here.

Absolutely.

If you watch it again, you can see the dog looking for his ball. He know the Lt. had it when he fell but he's looking for a chance to catch it if he drops it. And then he finds it. That's a reward that he only gets at certain times. As I'm sure you know. :-6

That'd be great. and they may be able to pet or touch a rescue dog. These dogs don't get petted by the public. Unless you have an unnatural desire for a prostethic. . .prosthetic. . . pros. . . you know one of those. :wah:
