Wow, with a list like that you can't lose no matter which one you pick!

I was torn between Rome and Prague. I hear Prague is beautiful but there;s something about Rome. That's what I chose. :)

I voted Prague as Iv'e heard good reports on it.

As a rough guide, the weather in spring is warm & fairly dry; summer is hot & sunny; autumn is cool & wet; and winter can be very cold with ice & snow. The average temperature in June/July is 30C (86F). In December/January it is -5C (41F) and snow flurries are frequent.

Prague opera is world famous, boasting some of the finest opera performances in some of the most stunning opera houses in Europe.

I too voted for the Rome vacation. The overriding factor was that you can travel to other places in Italy while there. For me Florence would be fantastic, sounds like your mom might want to go there? Also I think Rome is one of those places everyone should see at least once in their life. I've never been so that's why I'd go there. My second choice would be London to see Phantom. I'd go during the rainiest, darkest time of year though (sounds like a hauntingly good time :). Anyway enjoy yourselves, you'll no doubt not make a bad choice.
