My father was a welder for the local coal power plant and is now retired.

My mom was a keno supervisor at the Flamingo Hilton.

My dad worked as a lab tech in a mill. My mom cleaned a doctor's house and office.

my mum is a quality control manager for a colostomy bag manufacturer called convatec (bristol myers squibb):-4

My Dad is a Glazier, been at the same company from 16 years old:-4

Father: was most recently a CEO and entrepreneur.

Mum: was a singer, dancer, accountant, entrepreneur ( another company other than my father's).

My parents were missionaries when I was a kid. When my father died, my mother brought us home and worked in a vitamin factory, and later a bank until she retired.

mom= manager of the lab at local hospital

dad= does something with oil wells and gas lines..not sure what his job title is :wah:

Dad = Engineer (I never knew what he did, contracted from the Government though) for the last 30+ years, last Feb, he got laid off because he is close to retirement age, so now he is working at Target.

Mom = Seamstress (very talented one at that!!)

Dad used to be a sales rep for a variety of companies over the years, now he's working part-time at Asda until he retires in a couple of months.

Mum was a housewife until I was about 11 then she worked in a nursing home for years, now she manages a day care centre.

But the best thing they did was be parents:-4:-4

My Dad was coal miner (at the pit face). He was very strong and made the biggest bonus in the North East for filling tubs (small wagons) with coal. That was until a fall of stone nearly killed him. He was never the same after that (now passed on). My Mam was a housewife and did one or two part time catering jobs. She is still with us at 77 and has only this year moved into a pensioners bungalow. She is still very bright and sees off the Times crossword before making a start on cooking her midday meal:)
