***I've learned the value of true friends:-6

*** I've watched several friends leave this earth..and we celebrated each and everyone..Life is A CELEBRATION!:-4

***Watched as my niece drove away to go to Georgia to college :driving:

--I paid off my house.

--I found out I'm going to be a grandma again.

--Almost got married

--Turned thirty (7 months actually)

--Moved from West Tn to East TN

--Moved from East TN to West TN

--Wrote some stories

(no particular order to the above)

- started taking college courses

- hurt myself twice, once in the leg and once in the arm

- lived through my son having 5 tickets and 4 accidents, and let him live through it too...that't the kind of mom I am!!:-4

- fell in love, and hurt like heck when he left......

* My Mum has gone into remission after intensive chemo:guitarist

* I have gone back to college

* Jim's daughter that lived in America has come to live with us

* I have wrecked the house by knocking down a wall that was holding the ceiling up, oops

Please, we are not able to sit in the living room, we have the steel fitted in now and the electrics sorted just waiting for the plasterer to do his bit, this latest one from me has cost Â£1000 to sort out. :-5

My daughter got married!

It is a new school year.

My husband walked to the doctor's visit yesterday.

I am stressed over old hospital bills and lawyers.

But I wrote alot this summer, and it was a lovely time.

Hi mom, it's great to see you in here!!! Wishing you only the very best!

So lets see:

We have our villa here in Florida for the winter months, that was only 3 miles from our grandson & his family's house. Just last August (sadly for us) his dad got a new job in Kansas City, MO. So off they all went to MO!!!

Florida is not the same now! :wah:

I've improved my golf game, from "worlds worst hacker", to now just plain "hacker"! :p

I took out a 6 month membership at our local gym, someday I may even go!:D

I hate SNAKES, & here in FL I saw "three" 4 footers, and one 3 foot long iguana!

Next week we'll be heading back to our Northern villa, were there have been "Bear" sightings shown on the news there! :yh_hypno

WOW Cars..you have been a busy man!!! I hope you and yours are healthy and happy!! Well --if the grandson needs anything --I am just a small jaunt away---3.5 hrs..

How old is he?? and I bet he gets to go to the famous Worlds of Fun /Oceans of Fun...Probably not nearly as exciting as FL for heavens sake!! LOL Hope the flooding did not effect them to much..It sure has been terrible there...I am certain to be back on a little more...Talk to you soon!!!

Thanks mom, we are good here. Grandson will be "5" August 27th! Yes he gets to go to all the attractions, especially the ones for kids, as his dad is just a big kid himself!

Lessee, six months?

Things have been on a fairly even keel the past 6 months. Most of my news was in the 6 prior to that. :wah: But here goes:

Got a new TV for Christmas

Signed on for another year teaching in the behavior management unit

Bought a new 'puter.

MISSED YOU, MOM!!I guess that's about it.

Well Mom, let's see about what's up:

It is almost summer, and vacation!

My husband uses his walker alot now, and goes with me about twice a week places. (is that not the best!)

He's also going on vacation with me, I am going surfing this summer. :-6

He doesn't really like it, but I tell him about all the good seafood there....:wah:

I am in an adventerous mood lately.

I am going to tae kwon do class tonight, makes me feel a little more secure with the school situation lately. I am a lowly white belt, but my son is helping me at home. (he has a black belt) He is going to laugh when I break my first board....LOL

My rose bush is starting to bloom, Mr. Lincoln's!

My grandmother died last week, bless her dear soul. She was 96, but I was unable to go out for the services.

I am teaching my college class, have 35 great students once a week, and about 130 6th graders in the daytime for science. It is a busy school year.

I am going to write alot again this summer, a much happier topic then last year. (ugh, it was a legal history of something or other) I can keep FG open all summer long again. It makes the best of times even happier.
