Boy Car/Girl Car
Just picked up hire car for hubby's employee coming over from England. It was a PT Cruiser which made OH laugh, he said it was a girl car. Got me thinking do you think certain cars are Boy or Girl cars and which ones? And why do a lot of men call there cars 'she', mines an 'it' until it stop working then 'its' @@$%^^^. :-6

"Girl" cars that quickly comes to mind: VW Bug, Mazda Miata, Toyota Tercel, Honda Civic, Nissan Stanza, Jag Rag Top, to name a few.
"Boy" Cars that quickly comes to mind: Vette, Chrysler 300M, Audi TT, Jag Rag Top, M5 Beamer, Lexus SC, to name a few.
(Disclaimer: OK before I get stepped on, of course these cars are "interchangable", and definately can be, & are owned by both G's & B's!:p)

I'd say us girls are lucky, we can drive anything but some guys feel a bit silly in say, a Ford Ka or a VW Beetle.
I've got one of them - hubby reminds me of Mr Bean when he drives it.
We also have a Seat Alhambra (people carrier) that we both drive and he has a Rascal van.

I have a Pontiac Grand Am, I had this discussion a year or so ago with my son, I told him he couldn't drive my car because it's a GIRL car...I was corrected, because it's sporty enough to be a boy car too....I see many more women driving Grand Ams and Grand Prix's than men....
my son has a 1988 (or somewhere around there) Mazda RX7---THAT's a BOY car....vvvvaaavvvrrooooommmmmmmmmmm
