its been rather disturbing news this week what with the bombings floodings and now stabbings in london & even a comunity policeman has been a stab victim.

the most diabolical case was that of a 21 year old man convicted yesterday of raping and murdeing a 2 year old girl in gipton leeds.

that scumbag recived life with a recomendation that he spends at 35 years behind bars as he is a danger to children hopefully he wont last 35 months before someone gets to him at wakefield prison or he does the decent thing and hangs himself in his cell but at least there are some judges with balls.

murder is on the increase its time the death penalty was returned to the stature book and detention centres and borstals were brought back for these 12-17 year old feral gang kids golden brown must take hold of of the reins of crime and not continue under teflon tonys softly softly approach.

mind how you go

I really do hope thats the case Victor, hanging himself would be too good for this piece of 5hit, chances are though he'll be put in a wing with other like minded sicko's. I don't believe that they should be segregated at all.

I hate the way this country is going, kids killing kids, smack heads hanging around the local kids parks, it has got to change, bollocks to all this softly softly approach, HELLO IT ISN'T WORKING bring the changes and bring them now.

Great post Victor :)

Yes I agree!

Where definate proof exists of guilt then hanging is quite effective at preventing re offending! Why are we so poo soft in this country now? If the law was as it is now back in 1945, we would have the "beasts of Belsen", un punished!

I get very fed up thinking about how far things have gone down. I tend to think I have seen too much of life and lived too long:(

And maybe Derek Bentley and Ruth Ellis would have been thankful not to have been wrongfully hanged for crimes they didn't commit.

I'll bet the Guildford Four and the Birmingham pub bombers are pretty damned glad the law was changed as well.

As Mr. Albert Pierpoint late executioner said "I accept the fact that an innocent man died by my hand (Timothy Evans), and the though is not a pleasant one".

wickedness ought to be punished by more than a few "cosy", years in jail followed by release and the opportunity to re offend! I dispair:(

Sorry, I cannot accept that the cost is acceptable in a civilized society.

OK they would have locked them up and thrown away the key like they did with Rudoph Hess!

Perhaps that is a better idea although at the time I think most people wanted them hanged as quickly as possible?

Just for the record my Uncle was amongst the first British troops to enter Bergen Belsen His account of what he witnessed was like some sort of vision of hell on earth:-1
