Hello from the south

Post by GAsunrise »

Good evening.

In looking for a new haven I stumbled across the Forum Garden. The name appealed so here I am.

I'm pretty much an open book ... ask me anything.

Thanks for this great place.

Thanks, I'm a refugee from another board.

As for the av ... I'm in the midst of redecorating my son's bedroom...lots of dragons and all things oriental. We are also in the process of reading Eragon which is about dragons as well.

I guess you could say they are on my mind a bit. lol

Thank you for the welcome, I'm hoping this place is going to be as great as I suspect.

So, besides dragons, what interests you? We probably have stuff covering any topic you can think of!

FG is a great place, a group of people who are very respectful and knowledgeable. One or two nut cases, but then hey, that's what makes it interesting, right? Enjoy, and stick around a while!

Thank you for the welcome, I do appreciate it.

You're right, it is warm down here. High today is supposed to be somewhere around 65.

As for the accent, I'm not quite as bad as Scarlette O'Hara but I have my moments. What does yours sound like?

Hi GAsunrise. Greetings, from the not quite as cold as the American Northeast. Sure you'll love it as much as everybody else.

It is filled with fine people from around the world. Fine food for the brain. And fine things to talk about.

It is one of the finest places in the world. Don't let me tell you. Judge for yourself.

Thank you for the greetings, I can only say that everything I have seen so far I've been something beyond delighted. There is peace here.

I'm sure every now and then there are hissy fits, we are all human after all...but the hissy fits pass and once more the peace is back.

Yes indeed, a confirmed coffee addict.

I'm in a search of a new source for my favorite flavored coffee, the place I used to get it closed. If you've ever had a Moon Pie ... thats what it taste like.

Absolute decadence.

What's your favorite? Most of the time I drink full bodied Columbian although friends from Seattle and Quebec say that they have to teach me about "real" coffee. Apparently we can't get that in south GA. :-3

Hey Sunrise! A fellow coffee addict here! It's after 8:00 p.m. and I just put on my third pot today. If I could take the stuff intravenously, I would! Strong enough to make the spoon stand up and bark! I'd sure like to know what a mudpie tastes like, too. But flavored coffee isn't my thing, just REAL strong! Cheers! *clink* :yh_coffee

As soon as I get lil bit in bed I'll dive into a new pot myself. Keep drinking it until bed time and then go right to sleep. I think I've had so much I'm immune. :D

No war starting with me ..... I don't drink. Honestly I don't even know what the difference is in beer as I think I have only had maybe a sip of beer one time when I was younger...didn't like the taste, never drank anymore.

Just tank me up on coffee.

But Koan while you're here .....what's a mudpie? Kensloft told me to ask you.
