I like the way you talk the memories never fading, and then bring it together with the words and passion fading away. Good open/close. Nice flow to it, good rhythm.
Lovely poem. I liked the way you imaged.
A title..."Ode to the One I Kicked to the Curb" I'm only kidding ofcourse.
