Do any of you watch Cesar Milans shows. I think he is really great - I know some of the people on his shows are a little, shall we say, slow in realising their own mistakes - but then again, it's easy to slip into bad habits.

Dog Training / Cesar Milan
I've enjoyed him very much. I like his back story about being nicknamed " dog boy" or somesuch because he always had a pack following him.
Once he points out the importance of the order and amount of exercise then discipline then fuss it all makes such sense. I almost feel I should work out my problems with a nice long walk every day. I like his calm authority.
Did you see the one where he had to virtually " run ", the Great Dane I think it was, into the school because it had had a slip there before and was drooling and shaking with nerves and not wanting to accompany his teacher mistress? I know the " powers of T.V." can be misleading with edits and such but it is great to see the noticeable difference in the dog's behaviour, demeanor and the family's peace after. He gives so many tips that I think could apply to helping humans, such as not playing up to a dog's nerves but distracting it from whatever strange habit to lessen it's hold.

I'm an not sure I saw that one. It amazes me what he can do with some of these dogs. Many of these dogs would have been 'put to sleep' or into a dogs home if he had not stepped with his understanding of there mental stresses and his ability to communicate with them and their owners.
