Kids Games Today...

A 13-year old Dublin schoolboy who came within inches of losing his life after playing a "choking" game popularised by kids copying American stunt programmes.

The stunt game involves putting a rope around your neck until you get dizzy, cutting off oxygen to the brain.

The kids were copying an American show, Jackass and Dirty Sanchez on MTV, a group of young men doing bad taste and often death defying stunts for entertainment. Although the programmes carry clear warnings on the screen advising viewers not to try this at home. Children and young men will try it for kicks.
