A nice healthy alternative to fast food...well depending on what you get.

I had no clue that they had them all around the world...

I copied the link for the UK:

http://www.subway.co.uk/

So, I was wondering, what is your favorite, do you like to eat there??

Do you get the foot long, do you get it toasted?? Inquiring minds want to know!!

I always get a 6 inch tuna on white with ALL the veggies and a splash of vinegar. :-6

I'm glad I had a tuna sandwich for lunch or I'd be craving one right now! :D

I'll get the turkey and provolone, extra lettuce, no tomatoes, mayo, oil, and on fancy bread.

But I prefer Quizno's over Subby any day.

NO, I eat meat, just not often. I prefer veggies and veggie burgers to the real thing.

I was a vegetarian for three years though. Then I just decided I wanted a cheeseburger one day lol

It's definately healthy, as long as you're getting your protein in other places. I'm sure you know that though. :p

I've never heard of these shops, which are a franchise - not a good sign - and am extremely unlikely to go into one, should I happen on one. Sorry.

That's OK Bill, I make better goodies at home. :)

But my kids make up for my share of their business!

Not sure I understand that. Are you a franchisee? I like the sound of your goodies (although I'm absolutely sure I should not have said that).

My salads are better at home.:)

We have them in Plymouth, just bung a load of ham or turkey in them then drag em through the garden, bliddy lovely they are. For some of you not familiar with the term "drag em through the garden", that is when you start one end and chuck a bit of every thing in right up to the next end. Yes yes yes, i know, i have been called a lot worse than a pig.:D

I've had subway in UK and here. The USA subways are better.

Mmm i love subways Cheese and Broccoli soup. Except i hate the cheap crackers they give with them. I guess you can't expect too much from a fast food sandwhich spot. :D

They even have a Subway in New Zealand, close to where I live when there.

My favorite is the Italian with the sliced meats, cheeses and everything else, on toasted garlic bread.
