My hero is my friend (who I shall not name).

After finding out that her husband had been unfaithful yet again she has grown very strong, is making a new life for herself and her two children, has remained on good terms with her in-laws, has handled her childrens distress well, has taken on the mortgage, loan payments etc and is paying them and best of all recently slapped her ex's new girlfriend (16 year old slapper with a penchant for much older men) - yes I know she shouldn't have but the provocation was extreme!

The trouble is at my age the much older man keep his teeth in a glass beside the bed, his viagra in the bathroom cabinet and his shirt tucked in his skiddy pants!

Perhaps I think about a toyboy instead!

Good work on the cars but that's typical scorned woman stuff. A better woman would have f**ked up his employment. After all, he can't pay for his whores if he has no job. But I like the pick axe method. That's pretty spiffy.

Hey Magenta. I kinda think screwing someone else when you have someone trusting you at home is a pretty serious assault on that person.

I say the guy's lucky he got off without a date with a boxcutter. I figure you buy your ticket, you take your chances.

I must admit, I do laugh at that that sort of thing sometimes, but to be honest, I am quite old fashioned at heart, Marriage is a sacred partnership that should never be taken or entered into lightly..... I would never, NEVER DO ANYTHING to jeopordise my relationship with my wife. I love her and I meant what I said when I spoke my vows. :-4:)

Mind you, some people do some very scary things when they are angry :-2

Who cares about property when it comes to such matters?

Many people stay in an unhappy relationship so they won't lose property then end up having affairs. What is more important?

I disagree with bodily injury such as Bobbit but have trouble getting worked up over a car that insurance will mostly pay for anyway. And the woman better hope no charges are pressed or her revenge wasn't worth it either.

When I found out my ex was cheating on me I decided enough was enough and got my own back on her.

What she had failed to realize was that I owned absolutely everything in our rented apartment, all she basically owned were her clothes.

So when she went out shopping one morning I had a removal van come round and empty the apartment of everything, I had all the utilities cut off, gas, electric, water, telephone etc. and I also told the landlord that I would no longer be paying the rent on the apartment any more and that my ex was going to take on paying the rent.

I sure would have liked to have seen her face when she opened up the front door of the apartment and realized that everything in it was gone including me.

I did get an angry phone call from her but like I gave a damn lol

Does that answer your question Koan?

Each person has their own answer.

For me, I'd wreck my own car and pay the full price if it meant getting out of a bad marriage.

I gave away half of what I owned to avoid any fights over the matter.

I think I have my priorities straight when it comes to possessions vs my happiness.

The two are not equal.

I gave up everything my first marriage, just to get out of it alive. I really do believe it is up to the individual.

I'd never consider destroying property like the photos because it means so little to me.

While I don't endorse what the women did, I don't feel sympathy for the one who lost the property either. So what? The relationship ending is the important part.

If an ex wrecked my car I'd just be happier that I'm leaving.

I've only once started fantasizing about another person when I was in a relationship and it made me realise that I was not in love so I left the person. It's entirely possible that my ex had an affair right before we split. I know he accused me of it and that, to me, was a tell. Frankly, I just didn't care. It was already over.

Ive played the mans role all of my life, to get out of unhappy situations.

Lost my new car and had to sell everything I owned, to survive to get rid of husband # 1. Survived without a dime put aside, while husband ( father of 2 sons ) wined and dined new girlfriend. Gave half my belongings and footed the bill for 6 years, for live in partner.. to rid myself of him. I have never destroyed anyones property... but I can well understand the urge to do so.

Cheating stinks, in plain english no if ands or buts about it.

At the risk of making myself look bad. I once had an affair and when it ended (badly) I wrote the wife a letter. She divorced him.
