You don't need to press CTRL and ALT, btw.

Here are some hopefully helpful instructions..

Go to your Desktop.

Click on PrtSc. Open up an image/picture editor..such as Paint, or some other program you have. Than you can either click CTRL + ALT + the letter V at the same time, to paste the image into paint or other said editors, or you can click at the top of pain where it says, Edit, than click Paste. And the picture of your desktop image will show up in Paint (or other image editor), than click on File, Save As..and save the image as desktopimage or whatever you want to call it, and put it wherever in your computer you want it, either My Documents, My Pictures, or what have you. Than open up an internet browser, and go to this link..

Imageshack click on Browse, to the right hand side of the page...locate the image file you just saved in Paint, and click on the button that says..host it!...and wait for it to upload. Than it will bring up a new screen, with a bunch of different addresses for your image to chose from. I would suggest using the last link they give you on the page (scroll down) it will say Direct Link to image beside it. Copy the url (address) and than come here to this thread to post your image. Click on the Insert Image button, and if you have some kind of spam guard or popup blockers, there will be a message at the top of the screen saying something like, "this function is blocked, click here to allow" so click on the message, and go to Temporarily Unblock or Allow this pop-up. And than click on the Insert Image button once more. This will open up a little window on your screen, asking for the url address of the image, so now hit the CTRL+ ALT + V again, and click okay, and it will insert the image for you.

Or, alternatively to clicking the Insert Image button, just type in this code..(I will leave spaces inside the brackets, just remember to remove the spaces inside the brackets when you do it.

If you follow those steps, it should work no problem.

The PrtSc button on your keyboard will be in different locations depending on the computer/keyboard you have, mine is on the right hand side of my laptop keyboard at the top near the delete button. Yours maybe different, so just look for it.
