The Dating Game Forum

It occurred to me that we could have a right good time playing the Dating Game (in spoof) on the forum. It would go like this:

Three accounts are created called "Contestant 1" "Contestant 2" and "Contestant 3". These accounts will be handed over by a forum moderator and the password changed each time a new game begins. A member offers themselves up to play and has to ask 5 questions and pick the contestant they would date based on their answers.

Tricks -

1) anyone could be a contestant and you don't know their gender.

2) this is for fun the contestants aren't necessarily telling the truth so there is nothing "meaningful" in the results.

3) playing the game does not mean the person is really looking for a date.

Side note: If you have a partner that reads the forum and wish to play make sure they are not going to be jealous and know that it is just a silly game.

Nobody would have to answer honestly. So you can't determine who they are by user specific questions... and you'd only have 5 questions before you had to make your decision.

Contestant 1 doesn't talk in his sleep so finds no need for such extremes, but he does keep it open all the time in a browser tab while he's online just in case an opportunity comes up for him to refresh his memory.

The final choice bit of the game might include not only choosing between the contestants but also making a best guess at who each really is.

Set it up. Realize there might be logistic problems with people playing together around the world.

OK. I'm going to set it up in a game area for now and I'll be the show host as

2) I don't mind getting an infraction if it all goes bad

I'm setting the accounts up now.
