Hi Sunny :)

I think this is getting silly now. If you can't (won't) do the job then you shouldn't be there. I do understand religious limitations but there's a point where it becomes ridiculous.

Although...when I worked at this one store, I used to throw out all the mousetraps because I hated them. They really thought people were buying all those traps. I let it go.

I selfswiped my own stuff one time and I won't do it again. I want a real cashier to have a real job and not be replaced by some machine.

I just wonder where they'd draw the line?? :-3

If muslims can claim they can't touch pork then what about everyone else who has some religious/moral reason for not wanting to handle a certain product?

I am reminded of a time several years ago when I went out to lunch with a Jewish friend who kept a strictly Kosher home. I am not Jewish, and our friendship was close enough that I was able to ask how a person who kept Kosher handled eating out at a non-Kosher establishment. She said that most, such as herself, realize that the entire world cannot accomodate to her beliefs and so long as she stays away from the foods that they do not eat..pork, shellfish she is OK. I forget right ow the kosher "rule" for dairy and meat..but she told me she normaly does not order any dairp products when out.

Oh, not seen those. Silly idea though really as people can easily 'miss' swiping a few items but I'm still all for it as I'm so impatient.
