Do you give back to your community?
If so, how do you contribute to your community?

Yesterday I collected items for a woman shelter
Giving back is very gratifying.
Occasionally I work with "Meals on Wheels" which deliver food to the elderly - who for many reasons can't provide for themself.

When I was running my animal rescue, I considered that performing a service to the community by helping them neuter and spay their pets, helping with medical bills and of course, taking on the responsibility of their pets when they were tired of them.
Other than that, I usually don't think of my overall community when I want to do something nice; I keep it at home and help out my own friends because I think charity starts at home and that's what friends are for.
Very good question, Patsy.

Even if you don't do any volunteer work or donate money, etc. giving back to others can be as simple as kindness.
