After the shi.tty way she was treated this morning by other members, can we blame her? She didn't deserve what she got. I'm only sorry she didn't lay into them before leaving.

I must have missed something again. Probably a good thing. Any more, it feels like a year from now I'll be sitting in the garden all alone talking to myself.:(

Oh thats just f-ing fantastic that is, well, maybe in her condition she is better off, as she could do without the stress of being attacked by members for telling the truth about her situation. Who knows what has been going on , some really classy behaviour I suspect. Hopefully she will come back, and get to post without the judgementalism in future. But then again, maybe she won't.

this is terrible knews ,all those people that gave a pregnant woman that was very upset a hard time should hang their heads in shame ,i expect open mind is beside himself as well ,hamster cared for every one in this garden ,she hated the fighting and i never saw her pick on anyone ... its funny how every one always seems to pick on the people that really dont like to argue , i for one am really upset she has left

Its sad that Hammy has left but she has been saying she's going to for the last few months over many things.

As for the om thread, i have nothing to hang my head in shame about, there is nothing in that thread i would not say again or wish to remove. Its my opinions, views & i have the right to express them, Trying to make me feel guilty or bend to the majority thinking in this will not work.

I'm gutted and I shall tell her so. Hopefully when things are feeling less raw, she will come back. She'll be sorely missed till then.

Those that bullied her into leaving know who they are, and they can live with knowing that they are bullies. Good luck to them, as I personally believe in Karma!

Do you know, fun though she is I think the hamster's better off reading a novel and watching the weather through the window for the next while. She'd not be off down the pub every night, and FG has all the aspects of inner-city clubbing on a late Friday night sometimes.

could well have made an extremely astute decision in doing that, and can

always come back....

Pinky;551577 wrote: I'm sure Hammy won't mind me saying that she no longer felt comfortable or accepted here anymore. The insensitivity shown after the emotional turbulence of the last few days led her to decide that she just didn't need the hassle.

The worst bit is (and I didn't feel I could post this yesterday after letting rip enough already) it was implied that because her situation was posted about, that made her fair game for whatever comments.

The only time she posted about the situation was in her journal...how does that make her fair game? I was the one that gobbed off and made people aware of the situation, not her. I've already apologised for it, I can't change it.

On the upside, she has her home and her life back. That's the most important thing.

You're a passionate and fiercly loyal friend, Pinky, and I don't think you have anything to apologise for. She's lucky to have you.

flopstock;551550 wrote: I don't think you are the 'bad guy' here BC, I really don't. I think the last couple of weeks have been a bit much for Hammy and she just needs a bit of quiet and peace ..and we all know that's not likely to happen around here.

Flopstock has the best reputation for being able to see these situations impartially and, therefore, clearly. I think she nailed it this time.

Most members who has been through emotional and personal events that were shared publicly on the forums have felt like they needed a break at the end of it all. I think all of the members are glad that the events are over and that Hammy and OM can work on getting their lives back in order again. Hammy said clearly that she doesn't want people to choose sides in this matter.

I don't think anyone, including buttercup, has asked people to choose sides. OM has just as steep a mountain to climb if he ever wants to feel like he is accepted around here again as well. Perhaps the involvement of the forum helped them both make moves that brought this to a close faster, in which case it has all been for good. But there can be too much of a good thing.

I hope Hamster comes back when some time has put this behind us all.

this is not a witch hunt (sorry pinky ) and its probably coz i'm older than most people here , or it could be my culture and the way i was dragged up i mean bought up , but i dont care if your right or if your wrong its not on to have a go at pregnant women , they are not thinking normally ,i remember my ex when she was expecting she cooked a meal 3 times bigger than a t-rex could eat and when i could not eat it she smashed the plate over my head and tried to stab me with a fork (no wisey i was not telling jimbo jokes at the time)then 30 seconds later was being nice making a cup of tea and talking baby clothes (now that hurt ) ,but not only that the stress is really bad for the baby as well , plus think of poor OM sitting his bed sit with all this going on , hammy loved it here ,she has good friends here , she must feel very down , i tell you now people he will feel really bad for her and his child

so to no one in particular leave expectant mothers alone they cant help it and its bad for the baby , this is my last post on the matter as i feel its not good for open mind or for hammy

I'm very sorry that Hammy's left and I feel the same about all the others that chose the same path. FG now has few people left that I had fun with when I first joined. I feel like a light is dimming here and I don't know what to do about it.

Some of the other forums that are attracting ex-FGers, are referring to FG as 'not such a nice place any more'....it saddens me but I also find it ironic that some of these forums are copying the format of FG, so it can't be such a bad place can it !

My guess is that these forums will end up being a choice for people....a night at the ballet at forum 'A' and a night at the boxing at forum 'B'.

I'm not going to be nice here and I'm not apologizing for it. The inDUHvidual who is 90% responsible for the crappy way Hamster was treated yesterday should be on their knees apologizing for their obnoxious behavior. You are a disgrace. As are the remaining 10% who joined in with smarmy remarks that only gouged instead of uplifted. Failing to take responsibilty only shows what kind of transparent induhviduals you truly are and yes, you should be deeply ashamed.

I was heavily involved in the Open mind thread, in fact i started it. So if your post refers to me Red Glitter have the balls to say it. My response was posted on the last page in referance to comments & its plainly above for you to see.

Buttercup don't start with me. YOU should have the "balls" to take responsibility for what you did. You want it spelled out even though you know darned well who I'm talking about? There it is. You don't like what I have to say? That would be too bad. Try not to make it any worse than you already have.

Red i dont care what you think, your entitled to your opinion. What exactly is it you want me to take responsibilty for ? saying what i said ? Well ive done that. Im ok with what i said. Or do you want me to take responsibility for Hamster leaving ? Considering she's been saying she's leaving for months i dont see how i can.

Oh you guys I dont' think Hammy is that thin skinned to have felt like FG was crapping all over her.

She is in a highly emotional place right now, I think she needs healing time, and this place just wasn't a good feeling place for her at the moment. Many reasons I am sure have led her to leave, and hey FG prolly is the easiest issue for her to resolve right now.

So let's not jump on others here over this.

Hammy Good Luck with your decisions and know that there is tons of support for you out there.
