Oh Val, have you never been there? We used to go there all the time as kids. It is beautiful. That was in the days when they had the fireball from El Capitan at night, and we would spends days in the sun and the beauty. :-6

Many times as a kid, on family vacations. Saw the firefall, too, Chons...

I wish I had a way to send you a tape... I've recorded a program about

it, contains old footage. It's one of those "California Gold" programs

have you ever seen them? With Huell Howser?

For those of you who don't know, the rangers used to build a HUGE fire

every night and then shove it off the mountain, and people below

would watch.

Can't go right now... our dear sweet Tamsen wouldn't be able to take

a trip like that.

You can buy that video, but I can't find any clips of it, naturally.

Oh, I know those programs. Those are gems, I always watched them.

Oh, those are beautiful pics! I remember it, it was such a beautiful sight!

And my little brother always getting muddy in the stream, and loads of adventures. It is a wonderful place to visit.

What you saw was a coyote, perhaps. Wolves have never been in

I was just there two years ago for the first time as an adult, definitely breathtaking. I had no idea it and the entire state of Wyoming was that beautiful.
