Spam-by-mail?

Post by Bill Sikes »

A member whose name begins with D, who has never posted anything, and

who I do not know, and who joined on the 18th. Jan., immediately after joining

sent me a "Happy New Year" message, including a reference to a web-site. Is

this spam (or UCE), or am I being even more nastily suspicious than normal?

Thank you thank you thank you Bill, I still haven't seen a copy of what durkheim's been posting to all these old members but finally someone's said what his PMs contain. Please, would you post a copy of the PM here (with the URL removed) or forward it to me? I've been wondering for a whole day now.
