Why is it there are only 13 members & 170 guests right now? Are people afraid to join in, or are they passing thru? :-3

Now it's up to 14 members and 191 guests. Just think, if only half of them would register, and half of those posted, it'd be one heck of a booming site here.

I really doubt that many have been banned. Just one that asked to be banned, and a few spammers. Maybe FG will tell us the exact number. My guess is maybe 6?

Yes so many guests & so few members, I have been in the Forum at 3am, the only member, and have seen 10 to 12 guests even at that time. (I have trouble sleeping, as I'm retiring at the end of this month and am getting anxious!)

Anyway, they may be intimidated and afraid to join. I joined back in October out of desperation as at that time I was looking for a "Retirement Support Group". So I joined to try to get some info. As it turned out, "this Forum" is my support group, and am I ever so happy I became a part of it. The members that are in here are a great bunch of people! (Getting to be like second family) :-6

Maybe they are like me..... I thought a forum was a chat room. I dont even know how I stumbled across this place.. No doubt at 3am one morning. But I love it here.

Sheepishly, I say.. "I feel like I know all of you also" Its very weird for me. You all came along at a time when I really needed you. My stay has been very theraputic

for me. I have learned so much... And I have become motivated to take an interest

in subjects I knew nothing about before. I would be very sad if you were all gone.

ALL OF YOU

Yes Cars, I can tell you enjoy being here, that is a good thing, verses the complainers...I was out yesterday, my husband is having Knee Replacement 1/10/05, we went to a class & met with my cousin a physical Therapist who worked on him (alignment), we will be using homeopathic remedies as well... of course we are a support group, we talk to one-another daily?

No snow here in London either.

I'm often shown as a guest as well as the browser I use opens a few pages at once, this being one of them and I don't always get around to looking or logging on to the site.

As much as I hate snow, I wish we were dealing with snow right now. Things are just nuts around here. Roads are closed, people are being evacuated due to streams and creeks flooding, mudslides, etc. The river is expected to flood areas close to me Friday morning. To top things off, 10 barges have broken loose, have hit the dam and a bridge. People are not fully recovered from the last flood and have another one to deal with. I'm really grateful not being in a flood prone area.

A t-shirt and shorts? Some people have all the luck... :)

Here I was grumbling (to myself) this morning when I left for my walk...

38 degrees and that really thick ground fog... we call it "tule" fog here.

Somehow, feels much, much colder than it was a few short weeks ago,

when I'd leave for my walk and it was 28 degrees and SUNNY. :-6

Paula, good luck to your husband on his up coming knee surgery. :) My wife's Aunt had a "double" knee joint replacement, about a little over a year ago and she is now a happy camper! She's glad she did it! :-6

The biggest debate this morning is about a PEE TUBE. a cathera? We are leaving in a few minutes, he said he will sue the hospital if they insert a tube in a bad place? Very upset about that, the most! :lips:

oh.. yes.. by all means allow a catheter.. when I was in it was the greatest because you don't have to get up to head to a bathroom.. nope.. I would encourage it.. atleast I would allow it again if I had to....

Paula, it may be prudent to be a little cautious as to what we wish for. Can you imagine 545 new members, then their adding 545 new posts all at once?! :wah:

We really need an index now to find all the areas that our posts are posted in.

Cars, i would agree, it is unlikely 545 people at the same time would join? it does send a message that FG is becoming very popular! it will be estimated that the average american will live longer now due to forums? think about it, i don't think you plan to quit coming here anytime soon? ;)
