The best time meal that I had was about 12 years ago at an ex-boyfriends grandmothers house.
She made roast chicken and potato salad and salad but it tasted like heaven on earth and I've never had chicken like it since. She could also bake like no-one else. After I broke up with him, I missed her much more. She was lovely, a real lady :-4

I can't think of a single meal that was the very best but I love my mum's homemade lasagne. I love Christmas dinner but Boxing Day's cold turkey and stuff is better!
I go into raptures over M&S bombay potatoes, onion bahjis and onion bahji naan bread. Oh and their sticky toffee pudding.
As a child enything my nan cooked for me would be wonderful 'cos she spoilt me and cooked my favourites.
Sausage and mash and onion gravy.
So much food.....so little time

It's recurring.....Fried chicken, mashed potatos and gravy, black eyed peas, cornbread and sweet iced tea. It just doesnt' get better than that.

I can't say the best "ever", don't think I could say just one...I love food too much to single any of it out...very sensitive to their feelings..
Recently (and I've already shared this on the random thread...) I went to the Melting pot, which is a fondue resturant...it was AWESOME...seasonings were like nothing I've ever had, they had different dipping sauces that were undescribable....the resturants atmosphere was wonderful too, everyone that worked there was friendly and happy...I asked the bartender if everyone was always this nice and he said, "NO, we are just acting", I told him to get the first flight to Hollywood!!
