Multiple PM option

This isn't exactly a thread idea, but an idea none the less...

I was wondering if it were possible to make an option to send the same PM multiple times to a selected group of people so that if anyone wanted to send alot of people messages as a means to inform, setup an event, or so that it could just simply save time in copying and pasting the same PM 20 odd times taking a great deal of time.

I understand that it may not be easy to run a forum, but like I have said, it's just an idea...

Example: sending multiple PMs to people letting them know of a charity event, or to give urgent news to everyone affiliated with the forum...also, I'm sure it would be extremely convenient for alot of people who enjoy using the PM. Also, it would be a very efficient way for admins to send news regarding the forum to everyones PM as a second option, depending on how important it actually is.

I think we already have that option. Same as sending emails to multiple recipients. Separating each user name by commas. If you are sending to several members of your buddy list, I think if you open your buddy list, click on each name you want to send the PM to and then hit "send private message"

Something like that.

I think you can send up to ten at a time, is it a larger group now?

I do not know. I have not sent any multiples. Have been on the recieving end in the last couple of days....simply holiday greetings....but did not pay attention to how many people were on the "to" line.

This is what it said under my PM box labeled "Recipients"..

You may send your message to up to 1 people at a time.

Separate multiple user names with ';'

"1 people"

I'll send multiple pms to people and test it....
