What? No Kwanzaa? No MLK birthday? HOW TERRIBLY POLITICALLY INCORRECT OF YOU! :wah:

If you find anything yummy, bring it back here, Gups. It's almost supper time and I'm starving!!!

I fixed an oxtail stew earlier but that 's for tomorrow (you need to leave it overnight). Haven't cooked that in a long time and got led astray by the display case of my local best butcher. Grin. It's full of bay leaves, and fresh thyme and raisins and turnips and garlic.. and the house smells of that. But zilch for this evening.

Maybe fish tonight??? Guess I better git started in the kitchen....

:D

The fish turned out great... grin.

Putting root vegies in stew is probably an English custom I've acquired. My French family would not have done this. Grin. Ze garlic and ze bay leaves and thyme - oui!!! Ze vegemite, non non, pas de question!
