Favorite team?

SAN ANTONIO SPURS

Player?

MANU GINOBILI

Championship hopes?

OF COURSE! WERE COMING FOR #4!!!!

GO SPURS GO!
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

ALOHA!!

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

I don't really have a favorite team in the NBA.

When it comes to basketball, I mainly watch the NCAA, and it's tremendous hype leading up all the way through March Madness.

When I was in school I was...well,..I was an awesome athlete, but I enjoyed playing basketball the most.

If I hadn't broken my ankle playing football my sophmore year I would have had a scholarship to play at a big time college, playing basketball. I could have played anything I wanted but I loved to play basketball. I went up to Wright State and played in the open gyms against college kids when I was only 16...

When I broke my ankle I lost most of my mobility. Mostly it would just get really sore before halfway through playing anything. I couldn't stop on the dime and cut anymore, and if I had to plant on that foot I favored it alot.

(A guy jumped on my back right as I put all my weight on my right ankle, and I heard a crack. - I scored the touchdown, but I was out for a year)

I was hoping to get a scholarship to Ohio State, or the University of Dayton to play basketball, but from the time I broke my ankle, I haven't been the same ever since. Now, I know why people stick with only one sport.

But I don't have a favorite NBA team because there isn't one around here, so I just watch college ball.

103 - 77, Spurs

Reggie Miller and the other two commentators kept talking about Allen Iverson the whole game. Doesn't Iverson play for the Sixers? I began to wonder if they were even in the building!

I don't know much about Iverson. I mean I recognize the name, just not real familiar with his game. The Spurs are a team team, not a superstar and support staff like the Lakers. That's what makes them great.

He's pretty good. Averages 30 points per game. He's basically carrying his team, I could understand why he asked to be traded.

I think he could adjust to the Spurs style.

And you're right that is what make them great!
