He's always in fights & coming home with bits of his ear ripped, i was wondering if he's winning or getting beat up

no but the one time i did many years ago before i had my cat i went out to look as i thought it was a baby crying, they make some weird noises dont they :-2

Might be just him, neutered or not. Was he a "late" neuter? Sometimes
they get a pattern established and then fight anyway.
I don't suppose I could convince you to keep him inside?

here is more info that you probably want to know. the male cat has barbs on his penis. so when they are through mating you hear the female hollor.......maybe he is messing with an ornery female .........

He was neutered at 6 months, i dident want to contribute to an already massive amount of unwanted cats. He wouldent tolerate being kept in val, he's out most of the day but never overnight, usually rolls in around 10pm unless its cold then he's a bit earlier
