O Lady Flame

Are you serious about the gloves and hats? I haven't worn either for too many years to think about. Tell me....they would think I was a dog in my bare hands and head, wouldn't they:confused:Oh and slacks:-3

It will sadden the Poms to know that the 'Barmey Army' has been silenced, your not allowed to get drunk, and the fine for streaking now stands at $5000 and a court appearance for indecent exposure which gives you a criminal record and hence denies you entrance into Australia ever again.:wah: :wah:

The Barmey Armys' horn blower has had his horn taken away from him and the chants will get you expelled from the ground:-2

See what happens when bodyline tactics are used on us........Our memories are long !

The hats and gloves are still a must of course, and so are the cucumber sangers.:wah:

OH the the obligatory sunburn is still an accepted part of a day at the MCG or GABBA.

That's just plain wrong!....The Aussie Cricket board has always had a stick up its butt, regarding anyone who's dared to beat them! Leave the Barmy Army alone......Sporting Aussies........My Arse!

Bodyline was 1933 or summat, sheesh! Anyway its proper name was leg theory, it slowed Bradman down a bit!

Couldn't take Bradman out respectably so you had to injure him.

The famous words of the commentator that day, "there's two sides out there today but only one of them is playing cricket."

Yeah! The ACB were pretty pissed off, that they didn't think of it first!

But Magenta, it was 1933, you've got to let it go, it'll just keep eating away at you if you don't!.....LOL!

I tried to put some smileys in my last post, so it didn't come across as serious, but you'd used em all up in your quote.......Here's me contemplating Englands current situation! :-3

I've only ever seen Daddles, when it's been the host broadcaster from Oz, you know like in News snippets, never in actual coverage, cos Sky or the Beeb take coverage from the Aussies, and use their own commentators and graphics.

Why worry about it?

I (and a good number of my countrymen) would rather watch paint drying than watch that excuse for a sport.

Grin. If it's any kind of consolation, Australian Idol was won last night by and expat Irishman resident in Sydney. He narrowly beat a 16 year old from the Northern Territory who was part Aboriginal, part Indonesian. This is all of course a total red herring.
