Truck spills 2 tons of pig heads on road
BERLIN - A truck spilled two tons of pigs' heads on a road in western Germany, giving passing drivers a shock on the night before Halloween, police said Tuesday.
The accident happened Monday night after the truck turned off a highway in Herne, in the Ruhr region, police in Bochum said.
As the driver accelerated away from a traffic light, the door of his trailer opened, spilling the severed heads onto the road.
It took the fire service, helped by a fork-lift truck, an hour-and-a-half to load the heads back onto the truck.

Can you imagine looking out your window and seeing a huge pile of pig heads in the road? I would be scarred for life on that one.

Rinds maybe?
Ah. In the Yook we call 'em "scratchings", they're pig skin (sometimes called
"rind" as an euphemism, sometimes with little hairs, by U. Legend sometimes
containing nipples), cut up, fried, salted.

I was driving behind a semi some yrs ago, the driver went underneath a train trestle that was too low for him. It looked like a can of sardines being opened when the roof peeled back and the sides collapsed. He was carrying tomato juice, the snow was blood red everywhere. I ended up in a ditch. It was quite a sight.
