Help with internet optimizer...

I recently deleted Internet optimizer on my computer because it was crashing it when I would run various programs. Now that I have deleted it, every time I try and visit a website with what seems to be various types of advertisements, it crashes to a page that says "The page cannot be displayed". Then, it says "The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings". Because this happens on every other website in which I visit, I am assuming that my browser needs to be set somehow, or that I may need to download something to be able to use the Internet to its full potential. This only happens on websites that seem to have java type advertisements. Anyone know what I can do?

Download and run WinsockXPFix.exe. If that doesn't fix it, call me in the morning.
