When a relationship ends I try to remain friends - it's difficult.

What major family stuff could break up a good relationship - or were there other factors - or it wasn't that strong of a relationship, and not meant to be.

Worse than family stuff - I had a great relationship and the individual died.

I was married for 2 yrs and my husband died of a heart

attack at work - we were both 30 yrs.old.

If anything ever happens to my husband now - I'll get a puppy..

This is why I ask what family stuff?? I don't think the relationship was strong.??

totally agree with you patsy, she said she couldnt get along with my family and that she almost hated my family..it was an excuse.....our relationship was going no where, sigh, oh well all i can say is that im glad that i didnt lose her forever, its great to see her happy now :) she found another boyfrend after 2 days when we broke up, i think thats why i was totally heart broken..but at the same time, i was glad that she found another person as that will help her move on happily.

remaining as friend is hard, i tried for 8months and it still didnt work out, and she kept calling everyday, i now avoid her calls, and make sure that im not gonna give hope for myself, not until i totally have no more feelings for her, i wont answer her calls, sigh.

No matter what age? what has happened in the past, everything is possible :)

when things is not suppose to be yours, no matter how much you force it to be, it still wont be yours..but if it is suppose to be yours, no matter how much you avoid it, it'll still be yours...hahaa...so corny but true!!

Personally, I believe that love has no age.

Of course, it has not the passion of teenagers, but it could be deeper, because it is not based on attraction and beauty, but - and most important - on personality, way of thinking, wish of going on in your life with someone who may reallystay beside you in thick and thin.

*Concubines only work if everyone is on the same page

*Finding out she is a he or vice versa, I think its safe to assume this might raise issues

*All of a sudden one or the other partner blurts out " I want to live in Chengdu China, pack your bags "

*Following your patrner around all day pretending your Spiderman...apparently this gets annoying (whatever !)

Sorry to hear that, I just recently had my nice 2.5 year relationship ended... what got in the way, working commitments... pity :( Still feel sorry for him because it's taking it's toll on a once wonderful, caring, vibrant human. The being friends thing is not working either.... Guess you let go gracefully and move on.

Beautiful Soul,

Cool name by the way.. Your feelings you have aren't for her - you don't love her - your feeling the anxiety of now having to pursue / work on another relationship.

It's like applying for a job - everyone hates that, getting all that first stuff over with. !! Hell, the last few guys I dated - I just came right out and said, I'm this - I'm this - I do this and now we have that out of the way, How do you like me now?

Sorry she couldn't be up front and honest with you - that's called respecting yourself and eachother - she doesn't.. That's why your not friends with her - lack of respect, and in 2 days she's on her merry way with another.??

She did you a favor - THANK HER you'll be fine.
